1-Year Builder’s Warranty Inspection

Is your 1-year builder’s warranty about to expire?

If your new home’s builder’s warranty expires soon, you want to know in advance if anything needs to be fixed.

Heartland will come out during the 11th-month and perform a full inspection of the property. Outside the home, we will check the exterior walls, roof, driveway, deck, etc.; we will move inside to examine the walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and windows. The heating, air-conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems will all be examined to ensure they are safe and functioning as intended. Bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms receive a thorough check, along with the attic and basement or crawl space. We get the homeowner’s input on any items that may not be functioning properly, as this information is important too.

A digital report is delivered the same day that includes photos and identifies any defects or issues found. This provides valuable information to help the homeowner submit requests that may be covered by the builder and subcontractors warranties before they expire at month 12 so that they don’t need to pay out of pocket.
